Tour lovely old gardens and Pearl Fryar's unmatched topiary garden, museums, including the South Carolina Cotton Museum, explore neighborhood streets with many lovely 19th century and early 20th century Victorian homes, and if you choose the right time of year, you can see firsthand the fields of "snow", where you will view cotton for as far as your eyes can behold, and possibly visit an actual cotton gin, where the crops are processed once harvested.
The Main House of Breeden Inn was built in 1886 as a wedding present for the original owners bride with the proceeds from one cotton crop.
